Orlistat Tablets
A recent study set out to assess the effectiveness of orlistat, amphetamine or the two in combination on obesity in male albino rats fed on high fat diet. Following six weeks of treatment with orlistat (12 mg/kg) or amphetamine (1.5 mg/k) the results produced significant decrease in body weight and food intake and significant reducing effect on total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and significant increase in serum ghrelin levels. Each Orlistat tablet contains 80mg.
