MK-677 Ibutamoren

MK-677 (also known as Ibutamoren), is a research compound that may possess the potential to promote the secretion of the growth hormone (GH) and increases insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1). Ibutamoren research shows that this could potentially lead to increases in growth hormone levels by mimicking the action of the hormone ghrelin and as such binding to one of the ghrelin receptors (GHSR) in the brain [R]

Zinc is an essential mineral that has a multitude of biological roles. Many enzymes rely on zinc to be able to catalyze chemical reactions, and zinc participates in the structure of important proteins and is involved in the regulation of gene expression. Numerous research studies show that Zinc as a mineral may potentially enhance immune function, stabilize blood sugar levels, and support skin, eyes, and heart health. [R]

The body produces serotonin through a series of chemical steps, starting with the amino acid L-tryptophan. One of the chemicals involved in the process of transforming L-tryptophan to serotonin is 5-HTP. 5-HTP as a research compound is currently being investigated for its potential to boost serotonin levels. This could be very beneficial to future research as the brain uses serotonin to regulate various important functions, including mood and appetite. [R].

Chemical Formula C11H12N2O3
IUPAC Name 2-amino-3- (5-hydroxy-1H-indol-3-yl) propanoic acid

B6 refers to vitamin B6, also known as pyridoxine. It is one of the eight B vitamins that are essential for various bodily functions. Vitamin B6 plays a crucial role in metabolism, supporting the breakdown and utilization of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. It is involved in the synthesis of neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and dopamine, which regulate mood and brain function. Vitamin B6 also contributes to the production of red blood cells and helps maintain a healthy immune system.

Tauroursodeoxycholic acid, more commonly referred to as TUDCA, is a bile salt that occurs naturally in the body. When regular bile salts reach the intestines, they can be metabolized by bacteria into UDCA and then later bound to a taurine molecule to become TUDCA.

TUDCA is a water-soluble bile salt, which is in contrast to regular bile salts that possess both water-soluble and fat-soluble ends and confer a detergent effect. This is beneficial for the bile salts to emulsify fats in the intestines and as such aid with absorption. However, when bile acids back up in the liver, a clinical state called cholestasis occurs when the liver is unhealthy, these bile salts can be damaging to cells by destroying the membranes and signaling cell death. TUDCA and other water-soluble bile salts like UDCA compete with this toxicity and thus indirectly protect cells from death.
